The results of a recently released poll, jointly commissioned by SecondStreet.org, MEI, and the Canadian Constitution Foundation made their way into the Canadian Healthcare Technology Magazine today.
Here’s an excerpt:
“The percentage of respondents who say they avoid consulting doctors because of wait times is highest among women, people over 55 and Quebecers.
The survey numbers do not indicate whether the people who avoided seeing a doctor had seen a nurse or turned to other services like pharmacists.”
