POLICY BRIEF: The last government pay cut (2021 edition)

Since the pandemic took hold in Canada, there have been many news stories about businesses struggling across various sectors and having to reduce employee pay as a result.

This policy brief examines the issue of pay reductions in government, and includes details of pay reductions (or lack thereof) at the federal government, provincial governments and 13 major cities.
