SecondStreet.org sat down with Jeff Krushell from Alberta to discuss his painful journey through the health care system.

Jeff faced a wait of years to get necessary back surgery to cure his chronic pain. However, while he was more than willing to pay for the surgery at a private clinic in Calgary, he was not allowed to.

So, he escaped the country to save his back.
