POLICY BRIEF: Governments in the Dark on Patient Suffering
A new report from SecondStreet.org shows that provincial governments across Canada don’t have any analysis regarding patient suffering on long health care waiting lists.
Several media reports about patients suffering from worsening health conditions on waitlists inspired SecondStreet.org to file Freedom of Information requests with governments to see if any were tracking or analyzing this problem.
Each government responded without any data or analysis.
