CHRIS’S STORY: How His Trip To A Hospital In The USA Saved His Life


SecondStreet.org recently sat down with Chris Vander Doelen, a retired journalist and town councilor from Harrow, Ontario. 

After being diagnosed with prostate cancer, Chris required a life-saving PET scan to locate his tumor, but could not obtain the scan in Canada. 

Chris had to travel to Los Angeles in California and pay privately for the scan that would ultimately save his life.
