MIKE STUBBS – More Canadian Health Workers Licensed in the U.S.
SecondStreet.org Communications Director Dom Lucyk joined Mike Stubbs to discuss new research on Canadian health care workers with licenses to work in the U.S.
We found more than 8,000 doctors and nurses with a Canadian mailing address and a license to practice in one of just five U.S. states – California, Florida, Illinois, Texas and Massachusetts.
This represents a significant opportunity for the Canadian system to try and retain these workers in the country.
