POLICY BRIEF: Poll Shows Canadians Warm to Health Reform

SecondStreet.org hired public opinion firm Leger to examine what Canadians think about three health care reform options:

– Allowing Canadians to use their own money to pay for surgeries, diagnostic scans and other procedures at private clinics;
– Governments using private clinics to reduce waiting list backlogs
– Improving the tracking and disclosure of data for health care waiting lists, including cases where patients die.
