POLICY BRIEF: Poll Shows Canadians Want Focus On COVID, Not Climate Reset

Since COVID-19 emerged in Canada, some elected officials and activists have argued the pandemic presents an “opportunity” to “build back better” by restructuring our economy to fight climate change.

Similarly, several municipalities have passed motions over the past year to phase out natural gas electricity and natural gas as a heating fuel.
