POLICY BRIEF: Hospital cafeterias losing millions

This policy brief examines how much government-run restaurants and commercial cafeterias are losing in hospitals across Canada. While we only received partial data from health bodies, we identified $12 million in losses across the country during 2017/18 and 2018/19.

This brief also discusses two government-run Tim Hortons franchises that lost over $350,000 during the same period.
