Earlier this year, SecondStreet.org sat down with Alberta patient Jackie Herrera to discuss the seven years she spent in pain while bouncing around the health care system and waiting for help.
Jackie eventually travelled to Germany for surgery – and met six other Canadian patients at the facility.
