POLICY BRIEF: A Closer Look at Hospitals’ Google Reviews
Canadian think tank SecondStreet.org released a policy brief today that examines the Google review scores for 83 major hospitals across the country in 2024, including the comments left by patients and their families.
The report found that the average hospital’s score was just shy of 3 stars. Even Saskatchewan, which received the highest scores, only had an average score of 3.19 stars out of 5.
The most commonly used words in reviews tended to have something to do with waiting.
