POLICY BRIEF: Poll Shows Canadians Continue to Want Health Reform

A new SecondStreet.org poll shows that Canadians are keen for health care reform.

We hired Leger to ask Canadians about four different options for reform: hiring more private clinics to reduce surgical backlogs, allowing Canadians to pay for private care with their own money if they so choose, copying an EU policy to reduce wait times and making health ministers report how many people died due to long wait lists.

The majority of respondents were in favour of each option.
